377, on homosexuality.? Same can be applied to two consenting adults to have sex by paying for the service rendered. Then how this can be wrong and called prostitution? Indian society had legalized prostitution for generations and we had Devadasis who satiated the desires of men for generations.
Also is it not an offense in sending decoys ( like what Tamil Nadu police does ) to catch prostitutes. Is it not encouraging it or rather tempting it? Why no Judiciary action on this count? Many an Indian talks high and mighty against prostitution but many visit call girls and prostitutes ( without any age bar) and criminalizing it only breeds Goondaism, forced prostitutes, human trafficking, pimps and police making illegal gratifications.
Many political leaders and Ministers are having more than one living wife and many may have more than two. Police get mamools or protection money from all the brothels.
Anybody with conscience can answer and the so called purists please avoid this.It is boring to hear their oft repeated culture , religion etc.
