Hi. I am going to try to explain this as best as i can..

I phoned BellTV a few minutes ago regarding my issue I have with my satellite singal being lost every 10-15 minutes. What I have is I have two satellite recievers hooked up to the same wire using a splitter. The guy on the phone told me I need to get some sort of switch in order for me to be able to watch tv without my singal going out every 10 minutes. Now I have researched High and Low and have NO CLUE what he is talking about. If anyone out there has ANY idea as to what I need to get/do in order for me to watch tv without loosing my singal I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks :)

Splitters do not work with BELL TV.

You need a multiplexer. Your options if you have 3 or 4 tuners:

a SW24 or SW34 if you only get singals from Satellite 91; or

a SW44 if you get singals from both Satellites at 91 and 82 degrees West.

If you have two tuners you need to run a cable from each port on the LNBF.

Yea, the splitter degrades your quality. Essentially you can prolly just connect 1 receiver to your current setup and won't have any signal loss. If both your receivers are just single tuners and you are only using sat 91 you can just plug your receivers directly to your LNBF as it has two outputs on it. Make sure your using RG6 cables as well.

Need more info to be able to help:

How many receivers are you trying to connect in total?

Are you receiving signals from both the 91 and 82 degree satellites or just 91?

How many LNB's are on your dish?
