Ok, I've been fiddling around with this thoroughly pleasant looking toy, and the first thing which strikes me is the interface is massively different from the 6230.

Nonetheless, there are a number of things I'm a bit confused by, and was hoping you good folks could help out with them.
I apparently succeeded in restoring a PC Suite backup (including text messages) from the 6230 to the N93, but I can't find the texts on the phone. They're not in the inbox, and they ain't in the 'my folders' folder. Where are they?How do you make it display the name rather than the number in terms of received calls and text messages?
I will have more to ask later, but let's run with that lot for now.
 
for some more tips, first off just play with it, secondly there is a freeware thread stickied here that'll give you some suggestions for software.

Also, don't be afraid to read any threads on at least the front page of this forum to find just random bits of information. Search first, then ask. Welcome to the s60 community, I can promise you'll never look back.
 
Make sure that you've got all of your contacts saved on the phone memory, not the SIM card. That should fix things. Other than that, make sure you don't have the same number saved twice under different names. If you do, it will only show the number, since it doesn't know which name to display.
