Reccomend a good STMP server to use with PHP?

Hi all. Was just wondering if anyone could reccomend a good SMTP server, preferably if you have got it to work with PHP before. It doesnt need the capability to send HTML-based mails, plain text is fine. I dont need POP3, just SMTP for outgoing mails (im obviously just intending to use PHP's mail(...) function for experimental purposes).
