Check this out, while watching reboot, i decided to go to Rainmaker (Company that bought Mainframe)'s offical reboot website, and when i visited there, there was a timer. Obiously its not about a reamp of the website, it has to tie in with the trilogy of ReBoot movies coming out in 2009. Would anyone know of any news on this other then the blog they have running?

Hopefully by this time too, which honestly wont surprise me and i hope along with the new movies, Universal is gonna loose rights to ReBoot Season 1 & 2, and i believe no one has Season 3 anymore. Hopefully we'll see some dvds sets for season 1 and 2 along with a re-release of season 3, although i do own that the first set.

Just a little update :), good news to hear too.

According to the countdown something is gonna happened at the end of this month. Mmmm hopefully it will be a trailer to the trilogy movies.

Yeah, from what I remember hearing, Universal'll lose the rights to the ABC seasons of ReBoot in 2009, so there's a REALLY good chance we'll finally get at least the first two seasons to tie in with the movie. :D

And yes, fantastic news. I thought Mainframe had just simply forgotten about the revival project.

Though, if I remember reading the previous website correctly, June 1st might also have the first issue of the online comic as well.

Speaking of which, thats probably what it is, the webcomic. I hope though we will get a offical response on what to expect as well. It was just a surprise to me :). I was watching my recorded reboot episodes i made when it was on cartoon network in the morning when i thought to go to the website.

As one who has watched Reboot since its very inception on YTV back in '94, I have to say that this is HUGE news for me. I'm been dying to find out how they're going to wrap up the story with Megabyte's hunt. That was one cliffhanger we Reboot fans shouldn't be left off with. :(

But the biggest concern I have about this is Megabyte's voice. With the passing of Tony Jay, who can they possibly get to replace the voice of Megabyte?

What makes you guys think this is going to wrap up the final episode of the series? I heard this was nothing more than a total remake of the series.

It doesn't take place right after the end of season 4, but sometime in the near future after that.

Without going into spoilers, lets just say that the story has to do with the aftermath of "The Hunt", so the cliffhanger will be resolved.

Where's our resident ReBoot expert when you need him? :p

If I remember correctly, Discloner was the one to go to for anything about ReBoot.

Who knows, considering that the story revolves around the aftermath of "The Hunt", I wouldn't be surprised if there was a flashback to the events of the hunt at some point. Just speculating.

Also...who said "The Hunt" was the last fight with Megabyte? I don't think it's too spoilery to say that Megabyte is involved in the story.

Oh wow, how the heck did I miss THIS bit of news??? I watched Reboot since the day it premiered and had pretty much given up hope that the series-ending cliffhanger would EVER be resolved, especially given that most of the original creative team behind the show left Mainframe ages ago. This is fantastic news, I really hope we'll see a proper DVD release of the show along with it! (I know most of these sentiments have already been echoed many times throughout the thread, but just felt the need to add my voice to the choir...) :)

REBOOT!
