...reminder of the horrors of WW2? Im doing a history essay and need 3 points for either why or why not concentration camps should be preserved. This is refering to the cocentration camps in germany during WW2
 
It's based totally on your point of view.Do you think the place where millions of people should be destroyed?or do you think it should stay,just as a reminder?
Personally,I believe they should not be destroyed.Millions of people lost their lives in concentration camps and destroying them would not serve any purpose except revenge maybe. I think they should stay, to remind people of the evil of humanity
 
I think to not preserve them would be turning our backs on all those people that died there. And turning our backs on all the Allied soldiers who died in war fighting for freedoms of religions and ethnicities. The Germans had prisoners from 36 different countries, and many people gave all to right such a wrong. To not preserve these camps would be the same as saying we're going to forget all those unfortunate people who were all victims of a dictatorship. It was indeed a horror of the war, but it would be wrong to try to forget. On a smaller scale, another horror was the attack on the New York Twin Towers. Do we just forget about that? We wouldn't be a society of integrity if we did.
