Rear speakers in my car are cutting out?

I own a 2000 Cadillac Deville and I recently replaced the rear sub myself and had the rear door speakers replaced (professionally). Now when I turn up the volume to about half the rear speakers start to cut out/sound distorted. I have checked myself and the connections from the pre-existing wires to the new wires they installed are good. I have unhooked the sub that I installed myself to see if that was the problem but the rear door speakers still cut out/sound distorted.I have talked to the people at the place where I got my rear speakers installed and they said the my factory amp is bad and need to be replaced. I have also sought out other professional opinions. One said that the pre-existing wiring in my car might be bad. I am just trying to figure out the best solution to this problem without having to blow a bunch of money getting it fixed.

The speakers that were installed are 4 ohm alpine type-s 5 14"
I am not sure what the 10" sub is, it was given to me by a friend, I think it is lightning audio or something like that. I believe that it is a: Woofers LA Series : P3.10.4

I still have the factory amp, front door speakers, tweeters, and head unit installed
