Rear Main Seal Leak on a '95 Ford Explorer?

uh no it has alot of miles and rear seals are expensive to have replaced, the truck probably worth like 1700 to 2000

Ok, so i'm looking at buying a 95 ford explorer, with 176600 miles

its an ED edition

but it has a rear main seal leak.

KBB puts it at 2900 for fair condition, they said they'd be willing to sell it for 2700. I was wondering if this is a good deal or not. It just passed an inspection, so nothing else major wrong with it.
