much of a settlement do i get? This crane vehicle rear ended me on the interstate and totalled my car and injured my back. I went to the ER after the accident and missed work and they did xrays/etc on me to make sure i was ok. the cop at the site of the accident said i was lucky to be alive. Well i got a lawyer and went to the orthopedic doctor and he said i suffered a thoracic scalpular injury due to the accident and he recommended physical therapy for me. I am almost done with therapy, but began to have excruciating migraine headaches months after the accident, they would come 3 times a day and the pain was unbearable i would miss work and class(im a senior in college) sometimes because of them and couldnt live a normal life. I still get them sometimes and they take me out every time. I have heard about other car accident victims getting migraines also so i believe the accident caused mine. I went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with cluster migraines. Well, back to the story, the guy who rear ended me pleaded guilty in court to the charge and his company or his insurance has paid for my car. Also my laptop and printer were damaged because they were in the trunk at the time of the accident. how much of a settlement should i receive when you take into account medical expense, property damage, and pain and suffering, missed work/class? please help
