I am currently shopping for a 01-03 Ford SuperCrew. These trucks were available with two different rear end ratios, 3.55 and 3.73. Can anyone tell me an easy way to figure out which rear end each truck has. I am mostly interested because this truck will be a daily driver and the 3.55's seem to get 2-3mpg better fuel economy than the 3.73.
I have checked door dataplates and all they have on them (at least on these trucks) is tire size/pressure paint codes and front and rear GVWR numbers. Thank you very much though!!
