While stopped if I put on my parking brake while in drive without hitting the gas the rear end of my car sinks down like 4" if I take my foot off the brake. If I step on the gas a little it sinks about another 4". It will stay in this down position until I release it. Is it because of poor placement of the rear calipers by Ford? Its a 2008 SEL v6 AWD. I'm not worried about it, since its only supposed to be applied when you are parked anyways. I just want to know the cause and if anyone else has ever noticed this if they own a Fusion. Maybe its just because its an AWD model? Its fun to play with in the drive thru, people think you have hydraulics in the back.
