Rear Brake Drag

Have a problem with the rear brake dragging on my 2008 RG.
I have noticed it almost from the day I got the bike at 1200 miles.
You can hear it chirp after a few miles of riding.
I took the bike to the shop just after I started noticing it and they checked it over. Found nothing wrong with the system.
The noise didn't go away.
At 6500 miles, I decided to change out my rear tire to prepare for a long ride.
I pulled the caliper off and found the pads were paper thin.
I then cycled the pistons in the caliper, swapped out all brake fluid and pads for new. Everything seems to look OK but I still hear the chirp at times.
I did notice the side tension springs are pretty tight to the pads and may keep them from retracting.
Anyone else have this issue?
I did a search but found nothing on this issue.
I am running Supertrapp SE mufflers so my bike isn't too loud, I probably wouldn't notice the sound if I was running anything louder.
Any help would be great

I just read an article in American Iron Magazine about a similar situation. There is a bleed hole in the brake piston that allows fluid back into the master cylinder when friction heat causes the fluid to expand. If this hole is blocked, the fluid can't get back to the master cylinder and puts pressure on the pads. It can be caused buy moisture causing corrosion in the brake system. Their fix was to rebuild the master cylinder.

Thanks for the help.
I will have to look up that article.
Too bad I couldn't get the Stealer to swap it out or rebuild it for me under warantee.
I will look into a rebuild kit and put it on my list of projects
