Yeah, looks like the pressure switch is bad. I took the wires off the switch and jumpered them together and the brake light went on. I made a service appointment with the local dealer since it is under warranty. For the $16 switch I'd really rather do it myself but I suppose I should make use of the warranty, I just don't really like someone else messing with my bike. I suspect since it is a pressure switch brakes should be bled and based on the service manual it looks like I'd need the digital technician II so better off at the dealer anyway.
