Really wanted to go to boarding school....Mum said no?

Not long ago, I prepared myself and sat down and asked Mum if I could go to a boarding school. She didn't say no outright, but it was clear what she thought. I still want to go really badly, but I feel that if I ask again, I might get all upset or embarrassed or Mum might just completely say no. Neither of us has brought the subject up since I asked, but I haven't forgotten. I still really want to go.

I don't know what to do. Help?
