Okay, from May-OctoberI was on birth control steadily (I'm not sexually active, hormonal reasons).
I went off in November because I moved and lost my pack. I had a lighter period that month (only four days) and it was late, but that's apparently normal for the first month you're off birth control.
This month I went back on and took the pill every day. My period didn't start till the fourth day of the sugar pills. When it did, I had this HUGE wad of blood that held shape on the first day...as long as my middle finger and wide as my thumb, at least. Super gross. Also crazy cramps, as per usual.
After that I have been having a very light but consistent period and it's brown and sticky. But when I go to the bathroom, I have these long strings of red blood (really gross). I'm on the end of my 5th day now, I think it's winding down.
I'm not pregnant (there is really no chance of that, I haven't had sex and I haven't had symptoms either), and I assure you I didn't have a miscarriage (again, haven't had sex).
So is this normal for your first month back on the pill or something? Before going on the pill, I always had crazy periods. Sometimes they were heavy, sometimes light, 3-7 days. I'd go months without them sometimes.
