...well sorry i had to manipulate you into opening this but i havent been getting a lot of answers to my questions lately....
anyway while looking at pictures from the renaissance a few students asked my art teacher how did they paint the silk to look so much like silk she responded my saying its old masters techniques and we can learn them but it may take years
now i understand all of that but right now im painting like a "king" so his garb will be very much like velvet, velour, silk etc and i was wondering if some people can give me some tips/ advice on how to go about doing it. i want it to look realistic and i know thats a little boring but once i get it done im going to spruce up the picture i promise
