Hey Guys, i'll try not to make this too long, i know its boring to read massive messages but i really need some help.

Long story short, i'm a singer, i sing acoustic/country music and since about 2008 i have experienced tension in my throat, it feels like squeezing in my larynx, whenever i sing and occasionally when i talk for an extended period. It's not painful, just very uncomfortable and it limits my range. I've never had official and consistent voice lessons but learnt the basics from doing a music course in college where they gave us lessons with a teacher. I initially thought it was vocal nodules because my voice was constantly tired every time i sang. I payed for private Bupa Care to do an ENT and the Doctor looked down my throat and said it was healthy and no signs of anything, but it could be reflux so he prescribed me some Reflux medication, which i took for about 6 months and it let up once for about 2 weeks in that period. I then went back to the doctor privately who put me on the ENT waiting list, 4 months later i saw an ENT doctor via the NHS and he again said he couldn't see an issue and asked me to go to voice therapy which i never actually did, not entirely sure why but i didn't.

Anyway long story short, this was about a year or so ago and since then it has come and gone, my parents think it is stress related, i just want to understand what it is once and for all! but having been checked in the passed and no issues found im not sure what to do!

i have two questions first one being

1.) What would you all recomend i do? Because i have already taken the methoRAB required with no luck

2.) I have had flu the last few weeks, i haven't spoken or sang in those two weeks but today after singing my voice feels exhausted, been aching alot, and my pitch while singing was dreadful, so i don't know if this is to do with tension in throat or that fact i have just recovered from flu so wondered what your verdict on that would be?

Thank you so much for your time!!
