I love to work under deadlines, and I'm open to writing new things. Today, I started a radio drama. I'm making a few assumptions, to try giving myself a realistic deadline:
-1/2 hour radio script (22min) = ~5000 words
-One second of airtime for every three words spoken.
- 14-17 cues per page
My question: Would one month be a reasonable deadline for a first draft? Then, another month for editing? Or, since the word count is small, would it be better to draft in one week, with the remainder of the month for editing?
