ReadyBoost for Vista = Flash memory to "increase" RAM. Is there equivalent for XP?

Im just looking for ways to increase my computers speed.

I saw an article that said using a USB flash drive to artificially mimic an increase in RAM... to somehow substitute actual RAM... the article said this was impossible. But then I found ReadyBoost, which is built into Vista machines which does exactly that.

Is there a way to use harddrive space or a usb drive to increase RAM?

What other ways can I increase speed?

There's a 3rd party program:
http://www.eboostr.com/ (Free trail, something like 30 bucks for full version)

and a work around solution. I don't recommend the work-around solution, but these guys do, so I'll just link you to their page:

But honestly, readyboost is nothing more than a selling gimmick, and is ALMOST useless. Just buy some more RAM. It's worth it.
