Dani made her way out of Hot Exotic’s back doors. She felt quite tired, and her limbs ached. It was pretty cold out side for it being the beginning of October. Dani’s black heels clicked on the concrete floor outside. She didn’t have time to change out of her heels, only to into a sweatshirt and a pair of sweatpants. Dani cornered the small alley. It was a short cut to the parking lot that workers used.

Dani pulled her wallet close to her, glancing at all the twenty dollar bills. She stopped to count. Two hundred. Three hundred. Four hundred. Five hundred. Five hundred dollars was made tonight. Dani wasn’t surprised, she usually did make around that on Fridays. Dani always felt dirty for doing what she does. Christ, men watch her taking off clothes. She never even wanted to be a stripper at seventeen years old.

What she needed was money. And a lot of it too. She’s on a full scholarship to college. But nobody could find that out about her. Especially at George Washington’s Academy where it is all about being rich and spoiled. Every person that went to that Academy was stinking rich. If they found out nobody would have voted her for President there. The more money you have, the more popular you are. Dani is not popular. More in the middle of it. But the thing is, she doesn’t WANT to be popular. She’s only being president at the Academy for college reasons. She’s the top of all of her classes, a perfect student. All the money she made was going to a college fund. Either that or just for the money for her dorm, because we all know those dorms cost money.

Since it was Friday night everyone was probably at home, usually the students at the Academy went home for the weekend. Or they could choose to stay in their dorms. Dani always chose to stay for the weekend. Her dad and her step-mom didn’t want her. Her mom was dead.

Loud footsteps stepped into the alley. Dani couldn’t exactly see who it was. Her heart started to race.

“Who’s there?” She called, gripping the can of pepper spray in her tote. Micah, the club owner made every girl carry one. Now she could finally use it. As she walked around the corner, her stiletto high heels got stuck in one the of side walk cracks, causing her to trip. She cursed to herself and stood up with the help of a large strange hand that squeezed her forearm a little too tightly.

"Hey baby, you don't need to kneel before the king."

Dani looked up into the double chin of one of her regulars. She raised her eyes a little higher and met a pair of beady grey eyes embedded in a pinched face that held the sneer she had always managed to ignore inside the club. Now, here it was, only two feet from her face.

“Get your hands off of me” Dani said, pulling at his grip, making him hold on tighter. It was hurting her arm. She had one free arm, reaching into her tote, searching for that can of pepper spray.

“Not until you give me a kiss” the ugly man replied, you could tell he was drunk by smelling his breath. He licked his lips, going in for a kiss.

Suddenly, he had let go. She had heard a soft groan. As if someone had been punched. Dani’s eyes were still closed. She slowly opened them. Instead of beady grey eyes, brown eyes replaced them.

“Are you alright Dani?” The man asked. He wasn’t a man. More like a boy or guy. How did he know her name? More or less how is he here right now holding her in his steady arms? But she got a closer look at his face. She knew him. He went to her school.

Dani’s mouth was in shape of an “O”, her eyes couldn’t believe what had happened. For two years, she kept this a secret. Now he would tell everyone. Soon, the teachers would find out and she wouldn’t be president. She would be kicked out of the academy.

“I should go, thanks for… saving me?” Dani murmured, putting her head down as she walked past him.

“Dani Hunter’s a part time stripper?” He silently tsked. Shaking his head ‘no‘.

“Please don’t call me that” She felt hopeless. Dani knew who he was. Andrew William. Everyone knew who he was. Andrew had loads of money. The looks, well at least to most girls. But all Dani knew was that now, he knew.

“What the hell are you doing here?” She demanded, instead of being sad, she wanted to question him. Maybe he followed her. He was her age as well. Maybe they didn’t card him? Or they didn’t care. Micah knew Dani was seventeen. And he didn’t care.

Andrew paused, smirking. “If you must know, I’m picking up my brother, Finn. He happened to have got drunk, and wanted a ride home. I was walking around the corner because he told me to wait at an outside door. But I didn’t know what door exactly he was talking about. Then I saw some guy fooling around with you, so I punched him. He’ll wake up soon though.” Andrew then looked over at Dani’s heels and my hair and makeup. She still had forgotten to wash it off so it looked like sex hair and smudged makeup. “But what are you
doing here?”
