Bridget

Guest
The water had invited her
With such geniality and enthusiasm.
That,
As she bounded
Into the loving pool,
Licking at her ankles,
She left behind
All paranoid advice.

Warm kisses
Ventured up the girl's body
With every advancing step.
Dipping her head beneath
The curious surface,
Was like entering a new world.
A world of
Unknown.
She was,
For the fist time,
In love.

She traveled closer,
Offering herself to this strange creature.
He seemed to return the love.
With open arms, he engulfed
Her bewitched body.
An unfamiliar force,
Beckoning her,
To the dark
Below.

Without hesitation,
The girl accepts.
Surrendering herself
To her love's command.
A moment of
Pain, hesitation, struggle, then
Calm.

She feels a moment of complete purity,
A moment of utter peace.
Then
Nothing.
The two lovers are one.
Shared movements:
Flow and grace.
Not to be disturbed.

The ultimate betrayal,
Or the perfect romance?
That my dear,
Is up to you.
