I have an exterior porch floor to paint, it is constructed of narrow boards in the old time style in keeping with the age of the house. My problem is it was painted with latex sometime between 1 to 3 years ago and it is peeling, the owners want it stripped and repainted with exterior oil based paint. What I'd like Ideally is to scrape the loose paint, sand, then apply "a product" that will allow the exterior oil based paint to adhere. In essence I'm trying to come up with an easier and less expensive solution, any suggestions are most appreciated. Thanks in advance.....
