re: NCO; I have an unfair "Collections Harrassment" case; what next?

"NoMoreDebtCollectors" advice was awsome! Thank you, "NoMoreDebtCollectors"

I just contacted my Fed. Gov, and discovered that I've been harrassed for the last 8-10 years for debts that were resolved over 20 years ago. And some that I never incurred. Some even took me to court. At the time, due to deaths in my family, and surgery & physical disablement, I was too crushed & broken down to resolve anything, and sunk into major depression. Mental disablement. I was too overcome to pursue the fact that I know the whole situation was a bogus lie. In addition I'd been robbed of my identity. I have documentation for everything- the police reports, medical reports, etc.
The Feds even took the last few years of my income tax return although I now have proof that the case had been already resolved in October 16th, 1979. What can I do? I think I could get compensation for mental harrasment, pain & suffering, something. 10 years harrassment. For nothing. Their innacurate bookkeeping! Thank you for your consideration!

get a top end lawyer, and sue the hell out of them. A good lawyer, will work for free if you have a good case, and then just take a commission from your winnings.
