RE: "In Heaven will God give us more than everything our heart desires"?
I have a question; In heaven, if God will give us "more" than everything than our heart desires, doesn't that break two of the Seven Deadly Sins?
Greed and Gluttony? (Especially the latter?)
What is with the contradiction?
And before some people mention "well, when you get to heaven your desires will be different" isn't having MORE than one needs regardless of what it is, a sin???
The 7 Deadly sins does NOT come from Dante, but was developed from the Book of Proverbs. However, they were developed within his lifespan.
Regardless, they are still very important concepts within Christianity/ Catholicism.
@Nicky, if "righteous" people do not look into the next life, then why am I told the opposite nearly daily???
I've been told to my face by many people who have volunteered for the SOLE reason of getting into heaven. Not a joke, and not a lie.
Seriously, there are many people who don't give a care to this life or to other people, they only care about themselves and for acceptance into heaven.
