**RAZR vs D500** What do you suggest??

I'm getting a family plan from TMO and am really drawn to the samsung D500. However, many of my friends are suggesting that the RAZR is a better phone. My only concern is the innate issues that each phone has (i've hearn horror stories about each of these). If anyone has experience using both phones, which would you suggest?

the razr is a terrible overrated phone. get the d500 or you'll regret it.

The Motorola is thin, has a larger display, and is built half with aluminum. The D500 has an MP3 player, a slider form factor with hidden 1.3MP camera.

It's really up to you, but it's true that the Razr is very played out. I'd be comparing the V3i and D600 if I were looking at a new handset.

the D500 is a better phone regardless. the RAZR is a great phone but is also more about style, when compared to the D500.

V3 (black or silver) vs d500 = razr loses
V3c vs d500 = razr loses
V3i vs d500 = now those two are up for comparison but since d600 is out it blows v3i

Having used a D500 before my E730 and recently picked up a black RAZR, each has its selling point. Like everyone has said, the D500 is a great phone that's well-built with a good UI and a good camera. The RAZR, on the other hand, has a pretty bad UI and is basically a Moto V600 in a different form which is not a good thing. But the RAZR is pretty and appealing to look at, which the only reason I got one. Feature-wise, the RAZR has nothing on the D500 but I personally think the RAZR looks better than both my D500 and E730.

So in the end, it's up to you if you want features over looks and which phone's appearance you'd favor.
