I'm doing a mock congress in school and I was wondering if you all would help me out with a question. My argument is as follows. The rated R movie restrictions state that no person under the age of 17 should be allowed to view the movie without parent/guardian suppervision or consent. This means that your parent/guardian would have to physically come with you to consent or view it with you. Phone calls/written consent isnt allowed. I agree all up until the age requirement. I think they should lower this to the age of 16 and this is my reason. I dont understand why a person who in most states can legally drive at the age of 16 isnt allowed to simply VIEW a movie. Driving is a much greater responsiblity. so what is everyones views on this? would you consent to this "bill?" thanks to anyone replys
