I have seem so much of death,
I forgotten how to live.
Juliette will you love me,
if I come home missing my two feet?
Juliette will you still hold me,
if I start crying randomly,
in the middle of a busy street?
I have seen,
a man bleed.
So badly,
that he starts to cough up his own lung.
I have seen so much of death,
that I can scream,
and wake up the unknown men.
Dear my love,
I write this poem for you.
If I don’t come home know that I love you.
I will do anything to come home and see you.

I don’t write it for any other girl,
except you,
Juliette.
Juliette I think of you each day,
and I kiss those letters you send me before another hectic day.
Juliette if I die,
know my spirit will twinkle in your eye.
And smile and kiss those letters you sent,
and remember I have always loved you.
I wrote this poem pretending to be a solider in world war 1 writ ting to a girl named Juliette.
