who are the people in their entourage? Do they pay them to follow them or are they freeloaders or what; besides the security guards or are they all security guards?

They can be anyone from security guards, to other rappers in their record label, to gang members( if the rapper is in a gang) to just friends or relatives. Or they can also be music producers/promoters/DJ's
