Well, I'm a 14-year-old female teenager and I can't really help that, and I want to take my TV out of my bedroom simply because I don't want it there. I mean, we live in a freakin 2 bedroom house that has to provide for 4 people, and me and my mom have to share a bedroom and a bed. (Don't judge, we're poor just like everyone else is in America.) So about 2 weeks ago I decided that I'd take down my TV in my bedroom. I really noticed a big difference in my attitude by not having it in there. But here's the problem that is so stupid it shouldn't even be argued over: my mom doesn't want me getting rid of my TV that I don't even need, because she says, "But I can still use it." She doesn't even watch the damn TV in our bedroom 99% of the time! (Excuse my language.) I'll see her in there, maybe once every 2 weeks watching it for about an hour, and the rest of the time she's watching the one in the living room. So how can I go about convincing her that it's not worth it, and it's something we can get some damn money for instead of letting it just sit there to collect dust?
