Random, sharp and cramping chest pains on the left side of chest?

I am a 17 year old female weighing around 105 pounds. I have mild scoliosis, and have been diagnosed with BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo.) I commonly experience dizziness and vertigo upon standing, usually requiring me to lean against something or sit down until it passes. I am also pre-hypertensive. My heart rate is commonly between 100 and 110 when resting. At least two or three times when I have arrived for a doctor's appointment, they have had to use a different BP cuff because the first time it was taken - Usually immediately after getting up to walk to the office and sitting down, before I have calmed down for a moment after being seated - It provided worrisome results. Of course, this really may have been simply because the BP machine was working incorrectly the first time. Doctors do not worry me, so I don't see how the elevated BP would be related to that.
For at least the past three years (NOT a few short months, weeks, or days) I have experienced random pains in the middle left side of my chest, in the front. It feels much like a strong cramp, making me feel momentarily like I cannot breathe, but is quickly alleviated by a deep, quick breath. If I inhale slowly, the cramp still goes away, but is more painful than if it were done quickly. That is usually the extent of the pain, maybe leaving an ache for a second or two afterwords, and it happens at random times - sitting, standing, laying down, or even moving about. It does not always occur during or after energetic activities - every once in awhile it will interrupt a calm conversation. Last night I happened to place my hand over my chest after one of these cramps, and while I do not own my own BP cuff, it seemed as if my heart were beating quite hard and slightly oddly. I don't know how else to describe it other than that - the beat simply felt rather distinctly odd. It went back to normal within a minute or two, and I didn't feel any particularly different at all other than the fact that I'd had another painful cramp.
Can anyone give me some diagnoses as to what this may be the symptoms of, if anything at all? And/or provide some general advice - is this normal? I have always been told that 'growing pains' like this are normal, but these ones are always in the same area and feel the same way. Thanks in advance. :)
Forgot to add that I am 5'4''.
I am not taking any medications.
Yes, I know my BMI and have checked before this... My BMI, though it is 18 is healthy for a 17 year old female:

Factoring in my age and gender, I'm within normal range and in the 21st percentile compared to others of the same height and age. I've never had any doctor tell me that I was underweight or that any of my problems could be from this.
Also, I understand that the dizziness can be caused by my blood pressure. However, the same doctor who diagnosed me with pre-hypertension also diagnosed me with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. One would assume that vertigo upon standing would be caused by, well, the positional vertigo - Since it's not just dizziness, but vertigo and becoming unbalanced (I usually have to stop walking.) I'm pretty sure I've been experiencing symptoms of BPPV longer than I have been diagnosed with the pre-hypertension. Could it be that my doctor is wrong? She DID diagnose me of both within a small amount of time, so I'm pretty sure she already knew I was pre-hypertensive when she diagnosed me with BPPV.
Usually, they take my BP quickly after my sitting down in the office, sometimes after asking me questions about my reason for the visit etc. I know to relax, uncross my legs, talk as little as possible etc when they take my blood pressure.
