Random Muscle Cramps

Hey All, I'm posting here to see if my symptoms match any of you... I started having random muscle cramps (atleast thats what they feel like) about a year and a half ago. They usually occur in my armpit spreading down the inside of my arm, down my side, and across my chest to my nipple. They also occur in the back of my thighs. They are intermiten and seem to have no reason for being set off. Sometimes I'm sitting in bed and have a cramp, other times i'm walking around doing nothing, sometimes I'll stretch and get a cramp. They also range from being a 'oh thats an annoying feeling' to me being hunched over in sever pain. There was no change in diet or medication associated with these cramps and they don't seem to be set off by exercise. My CPK levels are slightly elevated and my magnesium is slightly low but all of my other levels seem normal. I've 'passed' a neurological exam and i have a emg tomorrow. When I have a cramp there isn't any visible muscle tightness nor does it seem to feel like it is constricted. Does anyone have any symptoms like this and if so have you been diagnosed?
