random muscle cramps arm

Not sure what category this falls under. I am a 29 yr old male. I have about a week ago I woke up with minor pain at the top of my bicep. Through out the day the muscle began to swell and feelings of pain and weakness radiated down my arm making it painful to use the muscle. Almost like a bad cramp. The skin was hot to the touch. This lasted for approximately 96 hours before subsiding with a slight itching sensation. 36 hours later. The same symptoms appeared in my Tricep on the same arm. It is now very swollen, warm to the touch, but no itching yet. I had these same symptoms 3 years ago in the same arm(different areas) and in my leg (only 3 instances). It seems to be a cross between a cramp and a allergic reaction to a bug bite. I am on no meds and have no significant history. I am allergic only to horses and poison ivey that I know of. What do you think??
 
It sounds like 'Allergic reaction,' as reading that you HAVE actually Allergic to horses and poison ivy. Otherwise, you may have some 'nerve issue' under the skin.

If these symptoms keep bothering you even 2 - 3 days, then you'd better to consult 'family doctor' for proper dx and some meds. for recovery.
