I was a fan of his father during the primaries.. I haven't been following politics.. What statements did Rand Paul make on the civil rights act?
EDIT: ok thanks, looks like we disagree on this issue, I'm all about freedom however it doesn't equate to discrimination - no way..
I highly doubt it's race issue with him though, just libertarian beliefs.. I would rethink it if I were him that issue, when it comes to prejuduce.. but he will only be one memeber of the senate if elected and we could use someone to cut spending, that's anti war etc
so for now I'm rooting for him, I'll be honest mainly bc of his father
I hope he changes his view, I'm rethinking this not sure I can support him over this..
