Scattered glass spread on the floor
Reflecting light like twilight blue,
One night in a thunder storm
Singing a chant for a sunrise bloom,
Dancing in the rain,
A dance for the world,
In a wonderful night
That brightens the soul,
The cold freshening rain
Showers the world like mercy,
We join our voices in prayer,
One voice of the world,
After the sky stops it cries,
The stars appear,
Like scattered glass
Shines light like twilight blue,
And we, the children of the world,
Gaze at the stars,
A frightening life,
Seems safe for tonight.
