Between opposite genders ?
Allah Says (Interpretation of the meaning): {And when you ask for any thing you want, ask them from behind a screen, that is purer for your hearts and for their hearts} . [AL AHZAB – 22:33]. In another Ayah (verse): {If you keep your duty (to Allah) then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease (of evil desires) should be moved with desire, but speak in an honourable manners}. The conversation may be by (tongue) speaking or by writing or by gesturing. The main thing is conveying one’s feelings to another using any method of communication. An Arab poet said: “No doubt that talking is in the heart and the tongue is nothing but an indication to the heart”. A Muslim should not address any opposite sex. This is a way of Satan to mislead Muslims. Allah Says in Qur’an: (Interpretation of meaning): {O you who believe! Follow not the foot steps of SATAN. And whosoever follows the foot steps of SATAN, then, really he commands AL-FAHISHA (disbelief and polytheism} . [18:24]
