I don't mean for people who just want money and are greedy
but people who may honestly be in a financial problem
or maybe someone that fears it
It has been reported that Ibn Mas'ud radhiyAllaahu anhu was in his last days expecting his turn to depart from this world and join his beloved ones who preceeded him. And i presume that it must have been in his death-bed that he must have said the following:
"TODAY DEATH IS A PRIZE-MONEY FOR EVERY BELIEVER."
So the then Khaleefa Ameerul Mu'mineen Uthman radhiyAllaahu anhu approached him in his final days and said:
"Here is your share of wealth which you are entitled to for the service you have been rendering since you took the post. You haven't taken a penny from it so far and now it has been accumulated enough. Hence, you have to take it now before you depart this world."
At this Ibn Mas'ood radhiyAllaahu anhu said: " I don't have any need for it."
To which Uthman RadhiyAllaahu anhu said: "At least, you can take it and pass onto your family so that they may benefit after you."
Ibn Mas'ood radhiyAllaahu anhu said : "Do you fear poverty for them? I've ordered them to recite Surah Al-Waqi'ah every night. For ive certainly heard Rasoolullahi salAllaahu alaihi wa sallam say:
"Whoever recites surah Al-Waqiah every night will not be afflicted by hunger(I think the word used here is faaqa(need) wAllaahu a'lam."
I want to add that I have read many people saying that they did this and it helped them a lot.
So. there.
