Raging Waters clothes and bathing suits?

I wanted to wear a shirt over my bathsuit,i know you have to take it off but when you take off the shirt can you hold with you while on the ride?
What do you suggest for the top. since i have two pieces but the top is like a bandeau,other than that what else would you think would be good?
