circumference is 2 x pi x radius
Speed in is distance / time i.e. circumference / 1 year
Now put in values of circumference in mile, year in hours, and out pops your answer

If the Earth orbits the sun in approximately a circle with a radius of 1 AU, then
a.What is the circumference of its path around the sun (its orbit) in miles and
b.What is its speed in miles per hour

I am thinking I need to convert radius into circumference. Please advise!
TY so much. My answer was similar except I used aprx. in the book like 93,000,000 for example as 1AU, and 365 days instead of adding on the additional. I was thinking to convert the radius into circumference, and go from there.
