Radio problems in a 1989 Buick Century?

Recently bought a '89 century and the right speakers wont make a sound unless the volume is turned to the right and at max(where it plays a normal sound).
Ive checked the speakers and they both work fine.

could it be the radio(factory installed delco)? or maybe the wiring??How can i tell?
