same here with 9700.....

I think there is a new security system and recent MFI Loader files does not cover 9700.... I have heard that some 9000's are changeable but some are not.

This is posibly because of the new security system of RIM...

Any ideas or solutions for 9700? Will apreciate...

(this is not a stolen phone, my country has restrictions for the phones you buy abroad. IMEI has to be recorded to be able to use the phone, so I need to change its IMEI with some of my old phones)

how can i get my 8100 on service mode, i use loader for upgrades, but how i can put the BB in service mode, for changing imei???

yes its posible change the imei, but is not shareable... your shared file is a virus

y is it in every forum u neva get an answer, u always get pple argueing or answerin questions that no one is askin ggrrrrr,

can some please tell me or give me instrusctions on how to change the imei on a 8250 , thats all i need to kno, i got the Radio lab already, now i need to know where 2 get the MMF and MFI loader, and when i get it, how do i go about using these software to change the IMEI,
im sure this is plain english pple can read n understand,
i just need an answer to this question, nothing more
