radio install on a new bodystyle 07 chevy silverado?

I am trying to install a radio in my truck and it says i need to put a relay for the power i have onstar system and a factory amp to bypass i purchased the right harness but the directions do not say how to install the relay just that i need one please help step by step instructions please
