Radiator sealant for Honda CRV 2000.?

My Honda CRV 2000 is leaking coolant, i keep refilling becasue my mechanic told me it costs about $300 to install a new radiator and i dont have that kind of money.

I came to know about radiator sealant, but skeptical on how it works and if i want to put it in my radiator.

Please let me know if this sealant really works and will it cause any major damage to my car.

Sealant works if the leak source isn't too big, but it's a temporary fix. It might hold you over until you get enough money to get it fixed. If you feel like your mechanic is charging to much check other places.
