Took the Dust boot off the driver side of the Rack and checked the tie rod and there is no free play. Had a buddy of mine rock the steering wheel back and forth and i could see that the rack gear inside is moving up and down when he did that. Along with that the clunking noise. What does this mean? Do i have to replace the whole thing?
