Recently moved to Texas and I am not sure if I just moved to the wrong side of the tracks or if the people are actually prejudice. Example: My wife goes to the post office and while using the automated machine a caucasian woman attempts to help her as she is entering the credit card info. Then the woman begins to rush my wife as she is completing her transaction. Example #2: A different caucasian woman told my wife that our Miniature poodle is not a water dog and should not swim in the pool. The event she attended was a pool day for the dogs. Ex #3: Wife takes poodles to pet smart and woman at the register suggests that one of the poodles is too thin and must have worms. The vet said poodles are fine and that the woman is probably used to overweight dogs. How insulting!!
I could give other examples but I am not sure if this is just a lack of education or actual discrimination.
