I've searched on here to see if there is a thread and can't find it so sorry if I have started another thread in case there is one!

I can't wait to see this and take my 8 yr old DD to see it. I first saw Escape to Witch Mountain back in the 70s and was the same age as my DD. It was one of my fave films back then.

I believe this film has had a good write up and the special effects are amazing. Anyone else going to see it?
 
dont know where you get that from :confused:

from what ive come across online, its a cheap, no sense remake of the original, but not as good.
 
It's basically a vehicle for The Rock to do his patented schtick.

Shame as the source material didn't need him gooning about to sell it.
 
The originals never really made sense, had Bette Davis in one of them and were very basic in the special effects but they were brilliant. Have not seen the new one yet but it is a Disney film, so hopefully a good family romp.
I always think people should make up their own minRAB. Film reviewers tend to be boring, narrow minded and completely the opposite to what most people like.
 
Well I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Looking forward to i anyway.

Not sure what the sticking out tongue was for but yes DD stanRAB for Darling/dear daughter and is pretty much forum speak across most forums.
