though i'm atheist i have a scientific belief that if there is the abrahamic God we hear so often about that being would encompass this entire universe so from an early age that got me interested in astronomy and theoretical physics.
now i'm wondering which one i should study? i find astronomy and the universe fascinating but in my opinion astronomy is simply a branch of physics and theoretical physics delves MUCH deeper into the root of my search for the scientific answers to the philosophical questions "what, how, and why are we here in this reality?" astronomy is great but in my opinion at it's deepest it is doesn't 'scratch the surface' as well as physics (specifically theoretical physics) does.
