R.I.P Cocoa Bunny

We have a cute little dutch rabbit named Cocoa. Well, we did anyway. This morning, the neighbor's dog attacked her and killed her. Mom said it wasn't all gorey and that she seemed to have gone fast, but I'm so depressed. I was just looking at little harnesses this morning to take her for a walk around the yard. She was such a nice bunny when we had her outside in her cage. She really loved it out there with her little bunny toes in the grass. She was one of my furry little babies. I would pick clovers and flowers for her to eat every day because I thought she might be tired of her bunny food.

I hate the person who's dog killed our rabbit. We've had problems with this family before. The dad is just bad news. He spent time in a federal prison for transporting illegal drugs. Then he stole from my dad's company, and now his dog killed my baby! Eldon must pay!

Anyway, I'm pretty distraught right now having just found out about my little bunny foo foo. (That's what I called her.) So I'm going to just lay in bed for awhile.

R.I.P. Cocoa Bunny... AKA: Little Bunny Foo Foo

My family had rabits as pets when I was young. They're some of the best housemates ever. The same thing happened to our bunnies until we finally decided not to keep them anymore.

Hugs, I know how you feel. If there's a bunny heaven, I'm sure Cocoa is there with Bean Bag and Mr. Bunny too.

:hug2:

that shit sucks, i'm sorry for you. i'm not big feelings or shit so i'll let other people say the niceties, i'll just give you some conventiational advice walk over to the guys house and punch him right on the nose because he'll go straight down giving you time to get away . also if you really want to get him back put bolagne on his car sugar in the gas tank, egg his house let out the rage just don't get caught.

Thanks. I hope there is a bunny heaven because I didn't even get to say goodbye to her. I'll just choose to believe that all pets go to heaven. Maybe it's our love that allows them in. I dunno.

SAD! I'm so sorry! I HATE losing pets.

People need to learn to keep their damn dogs on a leash. Our neighbors' dogs jumped the fence and chased some of our horses around, until our bitchiest mare jacked one in the face for messing with her baby. The dog didn't get hurt but I went off on its owners for being irresponsible. I mean come on! Dog versus horse...dog LOSES!

kill the dog use the rabbits body as the wepon the bones might be able to impale the dog

on a more serious note Im sorry for your loss

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your pet. I don't blame you for being upset at the humans. Dogs are only animals, and it's their instinct to hunt, so I'm glad you're not upset with the dog. It is only an animal and should have human control and supervision at all times. As much as I'd love to let my dogs run off and roam around I can't. I don't leash them (since I live in the country and they are trained to respond to voice command), but I personally physically accompany them at all times, with a 15 million candlewatt spotlight at night. Nothing escapes that light.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

That blows horsedick. I'm sorry for you. I get really, really attached to my animals. Some more than I get attatched to humans. :P I hate seeing irresponsible dog owners almost more than any other pet owner. The shit dogs do...

I vote for going over there, and yelling his balls off. Don't vandalize, because you'll be an immediate prime suspect. But, I trust you have enough brains to decide against that anyway. Maybe get some sort of like, restraining order, so if his dog jumps the fence again, you can roast his ass? I dunno how those really work, though. But he sounds like big enough trouble to get one anyway. :P

I live in the country, so this "neighbor" lives about a mile away. The owners are douche bags who call the cops on my brother for riding his ATV and then let their little shit of a son ruin the road whenever he wants. There really isn't anything we can do legally because even though Mom saw their dog do it, there's no proof and out where we live, there are no leash laws or anything. We also let our two dogs run loose and even though they can be annoying, they aren't violent and they wouldn't kill someone else's pet.

I'm better today, but I had a really good cry last night. I cried myself to sleep and then I didn't sleep well at all. I feel kind of silly in a way for being so upset about a rabbit, but she was part of the family and I took really good care of her. I feel like it's my fault for not being home to protect her. I probably would have shot the dog if I had been home. I guess I just feel guilty.
