"He has created for you pairs from amongst yourselves, and pairs from amongst cattle. Thus does He cause you to spread." (42:11)
This verse in Quran is a fallacy. It is well known that there are living organisms (certain bacteria, fungi imperfecti; all members of the Monera Kingdom) who do not need any pairs to reproduce.
Moreover, how about this article which says that from now on we'll have babies who have THREE parents: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/science/genetics/article7097547.ece#cid=OTC-RSS&attr=797084
Can anyone deny that Quran says that a new life can only be brought into this life through a PAIR and can anyone deny that in fact we are about to have babies who came into this life having THREE parents?
What should one believe? A text which was written 1400 years ago, or the discoveries in science in 2010?
