1. Go to Calendar and select the first box on the far left at bottom.
2. Choose this as default view.
3. Assign hard button to Calendar, which should open up at that first "agenda" page; then simply turn on the T3 with that button and you're there, showing any tasks due and daily agenda. This would be the simplest, FREE, quick solution NOT using a 3rd party application.
If you want decent freeware replacement of datebook, look for Ks datebook or A5.
Next step would be TealGlance, which is rather "hookish," in that it tends to fight with some other 3rd party applications and imbeds itself in several of the Palm OS's "system spots." I personally don't use it although I'm a huge Tealpoint fan. Didn't really offer me what I wanted - but you could take a look at it.
Datebk5 and Agendus are the "kings of calendaring;" I use Agendus myself which can also have an agenda pop up on first "opening" -- but then again you could use the stock calendar app and achieve what you're looking for. TealGlance can be configured to pop up first no matter WHAT button you power on with, but as I said it's a little "intrusive" and therefore one of the on 2 or 3 Teal apps I DO NOT own; however many other people SWEAR by it. It's all personal. I'd rather save that $$ and put it toward an application that does FAR MORE than a quick agenda view, say TealScript, TealLaunch, Agendus or Bonsai.
