quick question, quick answer about cooking chicken in the convection oven!?

ok so i just got a convection oven and ive thawed out some chicken legs.they are big and mostly thawed but mabey a little frozen can i still put them in the convection oven?? wioll it ccook faster than the oven and also will the grease from the meat possibly start a fire if it splatters in there
